Gotham maakt zijn nominaties bekend

Op 2 juni worden in New York City de Gotham Awards uitgereikt, de jaarlijkse prijzen voor de beste onafhankelijke producties. Sinds 2015 zijn er ook Awards voor televisieseries omdat “de geest van independent film maken ook terug te vinden is in andere uitingen dan enkel film”.

Dit jaar kregen The Pitt, Dying For Sex en Adolescence de meeste nominaties. Deze laatste kreeg nominaties voor zijn acteurs Stephen Graham, Owen Cooper en Erin Doherty.
