SAG maakt zijn winnaars bekend

Gisteren werden in het West Hollywood’s Pacific Design Center de jaarlijkse SAG Awards uitgereikt. De S(creen)A(ctors)G(uild) die de belangen behartigt van acteurs en actrices, kent zijn jaarlijkse onderscheidingen toe aan de beste acteerprestaties, zowel voor film als televisie.
Naast de individuele prijzen, zijn er ook prijzen voor de ‘beste ensemblecast’ en voor het ‘beste stunt ensemble’.

Het lijstje met nominaties werd aangevoerd door The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (met vier stuks). Uiteindelijk won de Amazon Prime Video-serie twee awards, net als Fosse/Verdon en Game Of Thrones. Verrassingen waren de awards voor Peter Dinklage (Game Of Thrones), Jennifer Aniston voor haar rol in The Morning Show en voor Sam Rockwell voor zijn vertolking van Bob Fosse in Fosse/Verdon.
