Adolescence pakt 4 Critics Choice Awards

Op 4 januari werden voor de 31ste keer de Critics Choice Awards uitgereikt. Het grote Netflix-succes Adolescence haalde maar liefst zes nominaties — het hoogste aantal van alle titels — waaronder ‘beste miniserie’ en vijf acteernominaties. Uiteindelijk werden deze nominaties verzilverd in vier awards: “beste miniserie” en drie awards voor de acteerprestaties. The Pitt dat vier nominaties kreeg, ging uiteindelijk met drie awards naar huis: “beste drama serie”, “beste mannelijke vertolking in een drama serie” en “beste actrice in een bijrol in een drama serie”. The Studio scoorde eveneens 3 awards waaronder “beste komedie” en “beste acteur in een komedie”.

Andere winnaars waren: Pluribus (1 award), Severance (1 award), Hacks (1 award), All Her Fault (1 award) en Abbot Elementary (1 award). Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy kreeg de prijs voor “beste tv-film” en Squid Game die voor “beste buitenlandse serie”.
